It’s 2006, women are in the workplace, and things are looking up. Not as up as it could be, but ladies, we’re opening doors every day! Today, women have more choices than their mothers in answering one basic, yet classic question: what do I want to buy?
In my experience, shopping for women is both a personal and practical decision: we want to buy things that make us good and feel as good as possible. We want to have nice things for our homes and families. We want clothes that fit, electronics that work, and customer service that fills our needs. That doesn’t sound so bad, does it?
Most will agree that these wants aren’t bad. However, there is a group among women who aren’t getting their wants and needs fulfilled as easily: plus-sized women. And why not? These women are just as beautiful! Besides, what is “plus-sized” but a designation. It’s not a condemning label, unless we collectively deem it so.
I’ve created this blog as an information hub for plus-sized women looking for shopping havens on the web, both just for them, and sites that realize plus-sized women are out there.
This isn’t just a link dump: I will be analyzing sites as I find them, and providing links for you to check out for yourself! On top of the links to sites I’ve partnered with, I will also be provided information for women about books, movies, music, clothing, makeup, hair, nails, health, computers and electronics, cooking, relationships, and much more!
Ladies who aren’t plus-sized are still welcome! I believe that all women will benefit from the information I have to offer, but I did want to bring plus-sized women to the table first. However, as women, we all must stick together and retain unity. Empowerment is the key here, not division.

its about time someone did this. thanks maris! i want to drop a link of my own, i know you’ll be making posts on places for well endowed women to access.
i want to commend fredericks of hollywood for catering to those of us who have large breasts. they make beautiful lingerie for women of many sizes, from A-cups to F-cups, chest size up to 42″. i highly recommend their full figured smooth sensation bras. not only are they comfortable, but they provide support and they look good!
most lingerie manufacturers stop at size D or DD. there isnt much choice out there for large busted women. most of the choices we are presented with look like ‘grandma bras’. not so with fredericks! anyway, just wanted to add my little piece in there.
