I went to the Avenue the other day and picked up a shirt and a nice skirt for $20! You heard me: $20 total, not each. It’s so exciting to go to the store and see that. I stopped in to Lane Bryant and picked up two shirts on sale for $4 a piece! My frugality knows no bounds!
I should have picked up a few sweaters — yes, Spring Time is here, but I live in the Ozarks! It’s like: warm! cold! hot! cold! warm! cold! hot hot hot! rain! snow! rain! ice ice ice ice….you get the idea.
It’s been crazy busy around here — I’m trying to launch Take Back the Score! and I’m behind on that.

You’re really making me wish my daughter and I had a store of our own. As you might remember, Anna (my daughter) and I own Jahqoi. We specialize in plus-size clothing. We aren’t able to offer a lot of stuff on sale because we use higher-end fabrics…like for the Rodeo Drive dress, we got that fabric from France. We also have all of our clothing made right here in America… not in other countries, like most designers. But… I do have a bit of good news about the Rodeo Drive dress. We’re offering it on sale for a short time (now thru April 2nd). It comes in a print and in solid colors. It looks like two different dresses, when you see them on the model. But it’s the same dress.
I love your blog by the way. You always have such interesting things to say. Would be nice to meet you in person someday. I’ll bet you’re very funny.
Well… don’t mean to ramble. Just wanted to check in and let you know that I’m a regular here now. (smile)

Hi again,
Forgot to ask you: What’s ‘Take Back the Score?’
Thanks.
