…so I’m just going to post today, since everytime I write something and think about it nothing gets pushed to the front. Call it stage fright, I suppose.
What I’m thinking about today is earrings. Beautiful earrings, necklaces, rings…I’m on a jewelry run like no one’s business. Well, in my head anyway — summer is my savings time, not my spending time. But that doesn’t stop you from dreaming, or even snagging a pair of beautiful pearl earrings, now does it?
I love pearl earrings, necklaces, and even bracelets (and I’m not a huge bracelet grrl), and this pair of vintage pearl earrings looks spectacular! This is the type of jewelry I’d pick for a lovely night on the town with that special guy.
The other reason I like pearls so much is that it gives one a delicate look, classy and simple all at the same time. Studs are great fun when you’ve got your hair up — a sexy bun for the evening never hurt anyone!
So put on those pearls and hit the town running! (or demurely walking — we’ll be too busy looking at your earrings to know the difference!)

I’m not a stranger to luxury bags — I received a beautiful Coach bag (black and grey, and authentic) from a special someone — but a girl can’t hold onto her purse forever. I’m madly in love with my Coach bag, but I find myself needing a stylish bag that’s, well… up to date.
Which brings me to the offerings from Juicy Couture. What says “luxury” better than a high end designer brand?
I’m still looking into Juicy Couture - the brand is definitely angled towards a “girly” look. If you don’t know Juicy Couture, think “jumpsuits”. Lots of celebs these days are wearing them, but Juicy Couture also makes nifty things that all women can relate to, like handbags.
I always keep an eye on mainstream designers — you never know what they’ll do next. Maybe we’ll see some plus size fashion pieces from them. Either way, they’re worth checking out.

Three, three, three. The number of completion, and also a sign of the perfect witness. For today, it’s time to find completion in an item of our wardrobe so commonly overlooked: our shoes! Shoes are definitely important, as they tie together an outfit that may need a final touch to really bring your sense of style out in the open. Plus size women shouldn’t have to feel like they can’t have a great pair of shoes for their wardrobe.
It’s summertime! Whether at work or at play, sandals are the classic codeword for summer. It’s the shoe we pick for fun at the beach, or for the office that totally “gets” that whole business casual idea.
A good pair of decorative white sandals will get you nearly everywhere you want to be for the summer. This pair caught my attention when I looked at the decorative flower trim - what else screams ‘girl’ more than flowers? Sizes range from 6 to 10, standard size. I love a good dress sandal - this would be a sandal that I would feel good strutting into work with. A sandal for the ladies out there in the great outdoors - this sandal is practical and cute. I would wear this if I wanted the attention drawn more to my pedicure or even to my outfit - sometimes shoes can trump an outfit, and that may not be what you want. You get two pairs of sandals for $25.99, and sizes range decently. Give ‘em a chance — they actually look comfy!
