I really want to thank each and every one of you for the time you’ve taken to view what I have to say. That means everything to me - I don’t write for you to make a full time income - I write for you because I think every woman deserves to know great information, to feel great about herself, and to make smart decisions with her money. That’s about it - no catches here!
I will be putting out a FREE report for all of you, called “Worthy at Every Size: A 7-Day Wake Up Call for Real Women”. It’s part self-improvement, part “preachin’ to the choir”, and always 100% heartfelt. I mix in my personal experience, words from famous women, and even a second helping of Scripture to bring my points home to you. I believe each and every one of you has unlimited potential in every corner of your life.

Belle Noir is one of my favorite sites for finding information relevant to BBWs of color. Definitely not going to be a general interest issue, but it’s one that I’m proud to both participate in, and announce to my lovely readers!
Now it’s time to get back to work - if I don’t actually get stuff done, I think my accountant is going to give me a “reminder”!
As if 750+ stores aren’t enough, Lane Bryant is opening up outlet stores hopefully in a place near you.
The initial incentive to stop in is 25% off orders over $50; they’re striving to keep you in the outlet stores by helping you save 25 - 40% off every day. If the promises hold up to reality, I definately predict a massive shift in the way Lane Bryant / Charming Shoppes sees purchases being made.
Right now, I don’t see too many offerings, but there’s enough locations that hopefully the journey out to the new outlet stores won’t be too hard on your head — or your wallet. I fully expect Lane Bryant to roll out new outlet stores incrementally over the next 8 months.
I’ll most likely be going to the Branson, MO location in September when I pass through Springfield to see Mr. Deluxe. Maybe I’ll catch you fashionable ladies and gents there!

I just got back from a whirlwind weekend in which the handsome man in my life officially proposed to me. I swapped the quiet silver band for a very stylish engagement ring, part of a wedding set called Eternal Love. It’s from InspiredSilver, and I absolutely love it!

It’s 2006, women are in the workplace, and things are looking up. Not as up as it could be, but ladies, we’re opening doors every day! Today, women have more choices than their mothers in answering one basic, yet classic question: what do I want to buy?
In my experience, shopping for women is both a personal and practical decision: we want to buy things that make us good and feel as good as possible. We want to have nice things for our homes and families. We want clothes that fit, electronics that work, and customer service that fills our needs. That doesn’t sound so bad, does it?
Most will agree that these wants aren’t bad. However, there is a group among women who aren’t getting their wants and needs fulfilled as easily: plus-sized women. And why not? These women are just as beautiful! Besides, what is “plus-sized” but a designation. It’s not a condemning label, unless we collectively deem it so.
I’ve created this blog as an information hub for plus-sized women looking for shopping havens on the web, both just for them, and sites that realize plus-sized women are out there.
This isn’t just a link dump: I will be analyzing sites as I find them, and providing links for you to check out for yourself! On top of the links to sites I’ve partnered with, I will also be provided information for women about books, movies, music, clothing, makeup, hair, nails, health, computers and electronics, cooking, relationships, and much more!
Ladies who aren’t plus-sized are still welcome! I believe that all women will benefit from the information I have to offer, but I did want to bring plus-sized women to the table first. However, as women, we all must stick together and retain unity. Empowerment is the key here, not division.
